TSOM28: Sidespin’s Worst Songs Since 1990 w/ rhythm method


For tonight’s episode, we are joined by the fantastically-talented Erik Randall, who writes under the name Rhythm Method for Sidespin, little brother to Deadspin. Erik and his partner Not Something Structural (@nss_ds), have made it a mission to find the very worst song since 1990 and, to decide this, they’ve opened up the voting to the readers of Sidespin with a 68-song bracket. So, tonight, you won’t want to miss a thing as we journey to the end of the road with our informer, Erik Randall, uncovering the songs that Sidespin listeners truly, madly, deeply hated. How bizarre these songs are. How bizarre. How bizarre.

NOTE:  TSOM28 breaks the typical format where, normally, we’d stray far from the beaten radio path since they’re simply too popular to be bad. But we figured that, to be truly diligent in our search, we needed to ensure that we weren’t be negligent in our search. It presented the perfect opportunity to partner with the talents of 

NOTE: TSOM28 was recorded prior to the completion of the bracket at which point final four songs had been determined. The winner has already been released here. We wish we could’ve released closer to the release of the winner, but TSOM.Administration has us on a tight release schedule and TSOM27 (the Fathers Day episode) took priority.
