TSOM26: Despite All My Rave

Tonight, we’re sneaking out the bedroom window, trading in our egg, and going to an undisclosed location to drop X and dance like idiots until the sun comes up. The rave scene, and later the EDM scene (Electronic Dance Music), has always eluded understanding and logical explanation with its bizarre combination of dissonant looping of blips, bloops, and beeps at heart-exploding BPMs. Why anyone would find it enjoyable is beyond our abilities to rationalize or reconcile, but they do. Our challenge is to find the shit that wouldn’t even be played at a rave. Put on your dancing shoes and prepare thy ears for flogging.
